This firm was founded in 1963, began its activity in January 1964, carry on the work of its founder, António Francisco Bonifácio. Since very young, he focused his efforts on growing the vine and on wine production, managing with success for over 40 years his business, but always with one concern: achieve the best quality on the products.

Also his sons who handled the business after the constitution of the firm as a commercial society, wanted to keep products of excellent quality. For that they renewed their vines keeping always in mind that the most important for the firm is to get and select the best wines and brandies from the best wine regions.

Nowadays this family business has several hectares of vineyards and two cellars for wine production and bottling in the west part of Portugal. The quality, confirmed by the most prestigious awards obtained in several contests, and the fame of the BONIFÁCIO's wines commercially placed them in lots of countries in four continents.
